Complaints

We hope that you never have cause to complain.  However, it is possible that you may wish to complain about something which affects your child.
 
In the first instance, we ask that you make an appointment to meet with your child's teacher to discuss your concerns and we fully expect that this should resolve the matter. 
 
If you feel that the situation hasn't been resolved, then please contact the office to make an appointment to meet with the Headteacher, Deputy or Assistant Head.  Once again, it is anticipated that this should resolve the issue.
 
Our complaints policy is below, and should be followed if you have any complaint which you feel has not been addressed informally by going through the steps above.  Whilst part of it outlines what to do if you have a complaint about the Trust, there is a section on what to do if your complaint is about matters at school.

Complaints 2017-18

In 2017-18 there was one formal complaint made to Charlestown Primary School, which did not result in formal procedures as it was resolved at an early stage.
