Sporting achievements

Charlestown Primary School Cycle Club: Grasstrack Division took part in the Cornwall Spring School Games Finals. Despite having several squad members out of the team due to injury and other commitments, they fought bravely on the track all day with Holly and Jack doing brilliantly after only a few practices. Coming into the last lap the year 5s pushed all the way to the line and the team’s reward was a set of silver medals! Well done to the whole team.

Charlestown Primary Grass-track cycle team went to Wadebridge for the Mid-Cornwall qualifiers. We came 3rd overall on the day, just missing out on qualification for the finals. A good time had by all.

Charlestown Primary Cycling Club: Mountain Bike Division headed over to Cotton Woods to take on the Cotton Cup mountain biking competition. All rode well with Erika coming 3rd in the girls competition and the A team coming 2nd overall. A good, wet, muddy day had by all.
