 Summer Term
Oceans and Seas

We will be exploring Oceans and Seas. We will link this topic with our Talk for Writing unit, 'Commotion in the Ocean' and find out more about some of the many wonderful creatures that live in our oceans.
Spring Term
Carnival of the Animals

We will be taking inspiration from Saints-Saen's Music  - The Carnival of the Animals to explore the wonderful world of animals.
Autumn term
Great Fire of London
We have been learning about the events of the Great Fire of London. In our role play area we created Thomas Farriner's bakery in Pudding Lane and followed instructions to make bread.

To link with this topic, in Literacy we have been learning to retell an instruction text, "How to make bread." We have followed these instructions and made our own bread rolls. These were delicious!
